Welcome to Cornell!

Greetings incoming Class of 2018!

Our names are Stephen Wang and Jevon Yu and we are the coordinators of Chinese Bible Study, a student-run Christian fellowship who seeks to know Christ and make Him known on campus. We would like to take this time to officially welcome you to Cornell! There will be many things to take in these next few days, but we, along with the rest of CBS, would love to make that transition for you as smooth as possible as you get adjusted to student life.

Our large group gathering meets Fridays at 7 PM in Phillips 101 on the Engineering Quad. Throughout the week, we offer spiritual growth, community, and accountability through our small group Bible studies and prayer meetings that meet at various times and locations. During the first week, you can find us at the following events:

  • Saturday, August 23, (2:00-4:00 PM@ Balch Hall Lawn
    • Christian Fellowship BBQ Fair
  • Monday, August 25, (12:30-3:30 PM@ CKB Hall Lawn
    • Cardboard house building, free freeze pops, frisbee/volleyball
  • Wednesday, August 27, (5:30 PM) @ Appel Commons
    • North Campus Fellowship Dinner
  • Friday, August 29, (7:00 PM@ Philips 101
    • First large group gathering
  • Saturday, August 30, (11:30 AM – 2:00 PM@ Balch Courtyard 
    • Asian and Asian American Welcome Reception (A3WR)
